George W. Bush. Do we need to do this? The answer is a resounding NO!
Like I said, There is very little that President Bush has done that would send me into spirals of disbelief and this is the motherload. We are about to decide the fate of how hundreds of Billions of tax dollars could be wasted on the ridiculousridiculous ambitions of a visionary in the wrong century. It simply can’t be done!
While I’ll agree we need to continue and update our NASA program we also have to put things into perspective. We barely got this robot lander to work on Mars and to think that we can put a man there is beyond our cababilities at this point in time. More importantly a base on the Moon is a bad idea. We have no control over our own enviorment to think we can create one on the moon and maintain it is just plain stupid. I would say somewhere closer to the year 2050 we should rethink this.
There is infinitly more that needs to be addressed by these tax dollars and Bush is just wrong to think this. I am against it.
